The Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam

By Editor | April 30, 2010

Every year, there are about 139.2 million hectoliters of Heineken Beer brewed. With such a large production, the company is considered to be the third biggest brewer, in terms of revenue. Although the company has over 119 breweries all over the world, the original Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam attracts the most attention probably because it is now referred to Heineken Experience, a museum.

Built in the late 18th century and used as a brewery until 1988, the Heineken museum features two bars, exhibits and rides. Visitors can also observe the process of brewing and even drink two glasses of Heineken for free.
