Amsterdam
I have only known Amsterdam from my geography class as the capital city of the Netherlands. Not until three years ago when my best friend fell in love and married a Dutch national when I really got to know the place well enough, and I am nothing but impressed. The place is truly spectacular, from their picturesque canals to their stunning architecture -- Amsterdam is indeed a place worth visiting.
My best friend went to Amsterdam to visit her husband’s family and also to get to know the culture of the place, and when she came back, she told me only good things about the place. Amsterdam is indeed one of the most beautiful places in Europe.
